I'm studying in Puerto Rico but i'm originally from Miami, Fl. I just finished but continuing on for my BS. I am extremely nervous about the NCLEX. I can take it here in PR but considering that i took all my classes in Spanish, worries me. Any pointers on studying? Books, seminars, anything? Freaks my out just thinking about it! Thanks in advance!

Oh my! Nursing is universal, though, right? So the same concepts and rationales should be the same, whether in Spanish or English. I used the latest edition of Kaplan's Strategies, Practices, & Review. There are so many study aids out ther for the NCLEX. Lots of students used Saunders, hurst review, etc. It really depends on what works best for you. Check with the NCSBN and their FAQs to see if they address your specific issue. You might want to post your question on the NCLEX link of ALLNURSES since lots of internationals there can answer your question better since they've been through similar situations. Congratulations on the associate completion and good luck on the NCLEX and BSN! I'm working on the BSN now.
Thank you, LYNDAA! Ive been mentioned Kaplan afew times. I just found out they host NCLEX seminars here in my university. Thank you very much and good luck on your BSN!

Congrats man I just finished my associates too, and honestly if you took all your classes in puerto rico then you'll be fine. I'm puerto rican (I was actually looking into studying in p.r.) and when I was looking up all the information for school it all said pretty much the same thing. Not just because nursing is a world wide profession, but because p.r. is also a part of the u.s. so it's all more or less the same thing just in two different languages. You'll be fine, if you made it this far then there's no doubt that you won't let a small thing like this get in your way.
