I have taken the nclex 5 times also. I will be taking it again very soon. Dont give up! I am using Saunders 4th edition . I am reviewing each chapter and taking the test at the end. If i make less then 75% on the quiz, i read the chapter agian and retake the quix and move on. After i complete all the chapters i used the cd and did 100 questions a day for 45 days. Good Luck!

When you take the Nclex again, do not make excuses about you been a full time and have 2 children. Many women with children passed the nclex. When you make excuses, it is like a coping mechanism. You need to stop! If you can graduate from a nursing school, you can pass the test. You have the intelligent for success, apply yourself. Just stay positive and keep telling yourself, no matter what my situations may be, I can going to pass the board.

Now what is your next plan?

Assess the reasons you did not pass and do something about it

Focus in areas of weaknesses

Do as many questions as possible (9000 is a good idea), the more questions, the more you can learn the context of the real test.

Go over all the rationales, right and wrong answers

For the wrong answers, take some hours to review contents

See if you can take Kaplan review to prepare you again. Change your current strategies.

Good luck!!!!

That sounds like a good PLAN.
