Heard good things about them so far. I havent taken chem or bio since high school, about 11 years ago, and when I did I wasnt very good at it. In fact, my high school Chem has the honor of being the only class Ive ever received anything below a C in.
Hopefully now that Im a little more mature and (more importantly) motivated the results will be a tad different. Looking to have a perfect 4.0 when I apply for nursing school towards the end of this year.
Anyone else on here have experience with Barton or know someone who has?

No, but I'm glad to know they exist.

I am finishing my second semester of chem with Edukan through Barton CCC. You pretty much have to learn it on your own. You read the chapters, do as many end-of-chapter study questions as you want (answers provided), homework, virtual and home labs. The first semester, I had an online study buddy. I also signed up for Cramster, which gives answers to the study questions from another perspective. Sometimes that helped, to see it answered in another way. If it's the same instructor, and I'm pretty sure it will be, you get full credit for attempting the labs, even if you get the answers wrong. The homework you can do as many times as you want to get a 100%. So the only grade left to chance is the chapter exam, which is 25 questions. They are open notes, open book and you get 2 hrs to complete it. Word of caution: The timer does not shut you down, so keep an eye on the clock. If you go over the 2 hrs, you get points deducted.
P.S. Good luck! You are welcome to PM me if you have any questions.
Oh, yeah. One more thing: You have to participate in a discussion group -- at least three posts per unit.
Thanks for the feedback. Ill be sure to shoot you a message with any questions.
