Ok, I'm officially freaking out here... took the NCLEX for the second time last April and I heard (from a friend who works at the post office) that my results are in, and she said it was a BIG envelope, didn't mention if it is thick or thin... and today being Good Friday and all, the post office is closed
So just how big should the "pass" envelope be?? Is it bigger than the standard sized envelope?

hate to be the bearer of bad news... and I don't know how it is in Pinas.. but here for me in California.. the passers received just their license in the thin letter-sized envelope. and I who have failed before received a thick bigger than standard envelope with all the application forms. good luck to you!
i wasn't clear.. what day exactly did you take the test? you said april and it's only april 6.. that's fast!

Different States have different mailings that go with those notices: in NY, for instance, the Pearson-Vue pass/fail notice is identical except for the words pass or fail. It's a thin slip of paper, so you can't know by looking at the outside. However, once you are issued a license, it comes in a honking-big, heavy envelope that contains handbook, nurse practice act, lots of legal misc...AND the license :)
I remember a thread several months ago where people posted about the thick/thin envelope thing....and the only answer we got was you couldn't conclude the danged results unless you OPENED the envelope and READ it.
If it helps ease your mind, I can't imagine what a BIG envelope could contain if you'd failed the test. A letter telling you how to test again is pretty small, wouldn't require an oversized envelope. A license suitable for framing, however, would.

I received my result on a small envelope with the letter that I passed. But prior to that I received a big envelope from california( not from CaBON) containing materials/ brochure for RN license renewal. I just wonder were did they access my Phil. address???. Are you sure that letter is from Ca BON cause it usually take 4 weeks before we can receive the result in PI. Good Luck and keep everybody posted.
