  1. Hi, I am registered both in Canada and US, and moved from Toronto to California a couple of years ago. In Canada, all of my international years of experience were credited. In the US, they did not credit 2 of those years (since I worked in a small clinic those two years and the place was not deemed large enough). Is this the norm for the US?
  2. Ok, I'm officially freaking out here... took the NCLEX for the second time last April and I heard (from a friend who works at the post office) that my results are in, and she said it was a BIG envelope, didn't mention if it is thick or thin... and today being Good Friday and all, the post office is closed So just how big should the "pass" envelope be?? Is it bigger than the standard sized envelope?
  3. Hi Suzanne, thank you so much for the information...
  4. Hi all... just learned today that I failed NCLEX, took it for the first time. Now I am thinking of scheduling a retake, but I might be applying at New Jersey this time, because I just found an agency I can trust there. Is this a good decision? Do I need to submit all my credentials again to the new state, and wait (again) for eligibility? I am hoping to retake before April 1. By the way, I am from the Philippines, and had applied for CA on my first take. I just found out a few months ago that CA does not release licenses unless you have an SSN. This could be a problem if I apply for NJ (or so the agency said). By the way, is there any truth to the rumors that CA exams are harder than the rest of the states??
  5. hi suzanne... I'm also applying for retesting, having failed the first time :icon_sad: when you say nothing can be done, do you mean I can't re-schedule for the next 45 days, or do you mean I can't even pay BON for the next 45 days?
