just another vent

I work in ltc amd I'm so tired. I'm tired of the drama, being short staffed, dealing with difficult residents, having a boss who doesn't seem to care, and working without any breaks is becoming the normal.

The pay at this place is really good but is it worth all the stress? Thanks for listening

Hi! I don't have much real experience, but maybe take a moment and think about what you're doing this for. Is it only for the money? I understand times aren't easy and neither is finding a job, but nothing is worth sacrificing your well being for! You need to remember that. Maybe you should look for a less stressful job. If you are looking to further yourself in the nursing field then look into other CNA jobs, or else find what makes you happier.

I hope it gets better for you no matter what you do, keep on the sunny side!

I would do whats best for you and will help you towards your future goals. It does not pay stressed with work while trying to go to school. I know just how you feel, where I work is a lot like what you described. I choose not to leave because there would be no way for me to find another job that will be as flexible as where I am currently working. I go away to school and I am only home durig vacations. Good luck!
