Its hard to be a nac no.matter how much experience you have. What helped me was watching the seasoned aides and learning some of their tricks. Offer to help them with some of their patients and you might be more apt to get help when you need it. Hang in there and give it a couple months.
Yea being a new can can be really hard. I found in my experience that I would go out of my way to help my coworkers. I always ask if I can help and I think they like that.
I work in ltc amd I'm so tired. I'm tired of the drama, being short staffed, dealing with difficult residents, having a boss who doesn't seem to care, and working without any breaks is becoming the normal. The pay at this place is really good but is it worth all the stress? Thanks for listening
