First thing is to relax, take a deep breath. The NCLEX is just a test, remeber that. If you feel that ur not prepared then i would review thoses topics and test yourself or have someone test you on it. I would recommend using saunders 3rd or 4th edition. I have taken the NCLEX twice. The first time i took it, i studied up untill the time of the test, the day before, the morning of, about 10-12 hours a day for a month before the test. I wanted to know everything i could becuase i wanted to pass the test so bad. The morning of the test i was stressed out, i took the test and later found out i didn't pass, i was horrified. I cried and cried, the good thing is my boyfriend was really supportive and he said we would study and take it again later. Thats just what i did.. after 45 days i was set back up to take the test. This time i only studied about 10 hours a week, i wasnt stressed out about it, just really took it easy the night before! Also instead of driving up there the morning of the test i booked a hotel room, and did a little shopping to take my mind off the test to come the next morning. Then the morning came, got there to take the test a took a deep breath and began the test. I found out later i did pass. YAY!!!Take your time, read the question make sure you understand what they are asking you and dont rush ur answer, you should have plenty of time to get it complete. you will do great. i wish you luck. :nurse:
