June 2016 real nclex rn advice

Published

Hey Guys!!! I always said that when I passed NCLEXRN I would post something on here. Well I DID IT!!! Yesterday I took NCLEX and my computer shut off at 85!!! I'm not going to lie I was not worried one bit. Like there were a few questions I was like oh well that may be it then it may not be but I just really read each choice word for word and moved on! Rule 1: You will not get each and every single question right so just really try your best and move on. Rule2: Believe in yourself (very corny i know but like seriously its important) these forums can be scary sometimes, like I read one that said if you come out the testing center feeling all easy breezy and it wasn't that hard you failed! THAT IS A COMPLETE BOLD FACE LIE!!!! I walked out very confident and moved on with my day. Rule 3: Questions, Questions, Questions!!!!! Do as many questions as possible. I would recommend UWORLD!!! oh and if your school has Virtual ATI tutoring that was kind of helpful in some ways like for a review factor but if not you will live. Rule 4: Breathe!!! I honestly feel like people psych themselves out and the anxiety gets the best of them and they end up failing so just calm down and deep breathe. You will be fine. I also want to point out that these NCLEX myths have to stop like today because i basically busted every single myth. I did not get a abundance of select all that apply like maybe 7. So i don't really think that is the "higher level" question. I got alot of easy questions seriously tho but it cut off early where as you would think I would have been taking it longer or stopped at 75 and failed which neither were the case so don't get caught up in that hoopla. I feel like NO ONE really knows how its scored but Pearson and NCLEX. My last Rule is Pray!!!! Prayer went a long way with this test!!!! Oh and the Pearson Vue Trick does WORK!!! If you need any help or have questions i would be glad to answer them *Disclaimer* I type fast and I may have a few errors but i'm a nurse not a English teacher lol
