how do you like hurst so far? I was thinking I might do Kaplan, but I am also really interested in Hurst..

I just rcvd my results friday and I failed, most near pass; I graduate long time ago 1999 and never work in the field before, so..my weakness is pharmacology; I dont know where to start again. I enrolled on the ncsbc online course now it expire and i will have to enroll again to start all over again. Well if anyone have any other reviews suggestions, please let me know. I heard about 3500 free rnquestions online? any clue..Thanks and good luck to all...

Sorry to hear it. NCLEX is no walk in the park, I just failed in march with all near pass & one above pass. I know how you feel..& Ya pharm is tough for me to remember too.. lots of info! I would definitely recommend the nclex 3500 questions, they are really helpful in general & I believe there is a link to them in this thread?..or at least on all nurses somewhere, I saw it just the other day.. I have a simple med-deck by Davis Plus (they make drug reference books) with some pictures and little less info called Pharm Phlash & you can log into Davis online and do lots of pharm questions with rationales. I have also been drawing myself little cartoons on index cards to remember side effects of some meds and naming them for association..I know sounds silly but it helps me if I actually review them a bunch. With meds it's all about repetition, endings, & prefixes for starters! we can put some pneumonics on here of how we remember our meds if that helps : ) I also like the Davis NCLEX-RN SUCCESS book for meds I just flipped through today & it has COMMON meds if that helps

Hi June test taker,

I 'm planning to take my NCLEX the end of May, but I feel so much material I need to covered. I'm reschedule my exam to this june. I want to practice at least 5000 questions more before I set down for the test.

My plan is to finish Kaplan, Mosby, Priority delegation ,and assigment book. I'm practice at least 100-150 questions per day.

Good luck everybody for studying
