I just figured we are so close tot he application deadline that all of us who have or planning to apply can have a current forum to join. Looking forward to seeing everyone who is in the same boat as I (and I know there are many of us) and I would like to hear what you think about the new application process.
I for one am happy that my grades get to speak for themselves and hold more weight then 1 essay did. What do you think??
I'm a little confused, on the white placement board it states that there are 60 slots available for July cohort of Banner Nurse Fellow's program. There is one that is accelerated for 30 people and one that is part time for 30 people. Can anyone shed some light on this at all? I was told by others that attended the March informational session that there would be only 1 part time cohort at Gateway?
The placement whiteboard lists the placements for the Summer AND the Fall. . There are 30 Part Time slots for Gateway in July. 30 16 month accelerated slots for Gateway in October.

Did you hear anything about them actually having October cohort? Because at March session Banner wasn't sure if they will have October cohort or not... I hope they do - so I can file my application:rolleyes:
I have heard nothing, and I go onto their website daily to see if any changes have been noted. As of right now, everything on the website is the same as before. I was unable to attend the March session, and I am still a little confused as to what was said.
Has anyone heard anything about the July cohort? Any interviews or denial letters as of yet?
I have read several other post about BNF and all information listed seems to all say the same thing, that the program has been cancelled. Has anyone heard anything different? Or have you heard the same thing? Any insight would be great.
I was at the info session in March and there was no mention that the program was being cancelled. In fact, they stated applications for the October cohort would be due sometime in June. They also made reference to the fact that attendance at an info session would most likely no longer be mandatory in the future, which they have implemented already based on what their website says. The only thing being cancelled was the actual info sessions, because they are trying to post the information and applications online. There is certainly a lot of speculation going on! I wish we all knew some definitive answers... Good luck to everyone who applied.

Thanks patientlywaiting2008 I guess since they have extended the deadling to 04/16/2010 we still have a while before we hear anything:rolleyes:
