JU 2nd degree program

Published

Does anyone happen to know when they start doing interviews and also when we'll start receiving acceptance or rejection notifications?

Everyone that I have spoken to has gotten an academic scholarship from JU. Maybe the nursing department was waiting for your acceptance into JU itself before they interview you.

!

Maybe they should just lower their tuition... LOL! Their tuition rate seems to scare away a lot of potential applicants. I know at least 10 people that said they didn't apply to JU b/c of the cost.

Last year some people got their acceptance letters/calls on March 7. So, we don't have much longer to wait!

If anyone gets an acceptance letter/call please post!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I got my denial today... but since I didn't get an interview I WASN'T AT ALL SURPRISED. But it is nice to have closure to the process. Considering they didn't even give me the opportunity of an interview I don't think I'll be trying for the RN program... And not because I feel slighted (perhaps my ego may be slightly bruised... I'll live) but rather because it isn't worth $30K/yr if I'm only getting my RN... I would rather save the money and go to FSCJ.

Best of Luck to the rest of you. I hope you hear good news sooner rather than later!

Hi!

I just found this post. I also applied to the JU 2nd degree program and I'm waiting to hear back. I'm getting super nervous because other people in previous years said they received calls by now if they got in. Has anybody heard anything yet?

I have not heard anything either way. I am nervous too. I thought we would know by now.

I don't think anyone has heard anything yet that had an interview. I just want to know so I can make a decision and see if I can afford even going to JU.

I spoke to them yesterday and they said it was going to be another week or two. I'm not sure what is taking so long... Usually FCCJ takes longer

But you know its only through mail not calls or email.

This process is taking forever.......still nothing.

Actually, last year they called people on Saturday and the letters went out on Monday. I don't know if that is what is going to happen this year or not.

Yea... I asked if they were going to do that and he said no.... that we would find out by mail.... Just adds to the anxiousiness :(
