Hi! Anyone here applying for admission for Nursing in Spring 2022. Have you finished all of your prerequisites? What TEAS score is good to get in? What do you need to apply for admission? Thank you.

Im so glad I am not the only one paranoid that they didn't receive my acceptance response ! Also the fact that we haven't been sent the information yet for the zoom orientation has been nerve racking too. Can I join that facebook group? Is it for traditional and hybrid??

Hey Katie, im glad we are all in the same boat atleast. The facebook group is Jtcc nursing class of 2024. ask for an invite. Traditional or hybrid im sure all are welcome as we might all eventually have classes together.

Does anyone have an opinions on the MTH-154 pre req? That is the only one I haven't completed, it starts on the 20th of this month and is a 7 week class. I'm really nervous, I wish I would have just joined a 15 week math class but honestly I thought my chances of getting into john tyler was slim to none.

Honestly I feel you should be okay considered you did well enough on the TEAS. Im taking the long course and I find it to be really slow so you should be okay!

Sadly I don't have facebook so I can't connect with any of you on there before nursing school starts ?

@Katie Alice It's not advanced math at all.  It may be a little more intense due to the short duration, but the concepts are pretty simple to grasp.  If you get the concept behind the equation, you can plug in any numbers and solve it, no problem.  Furthermore, it's the first and only math class I ever took that actually applied to real life - savings, payouts, finances, etc.  It's actually pretty useful.  You'll be fine.

In other news, still no follow-up email...hoping to get one Monday.

I just received my acceptance into Reynolds?

Thank you for that information!

So...anyone got that email yet?  I emailed my academic advisor, and she suggested I email my faculty advisor, which I did - last Thursday, and I haven't heard anything back thus far.  Only 3 days until orientation.
