JTCC nursing Spring 2022

Hi! Anyone here applying for admission for Nursing in Spring 2022. Have you finished all of your prerequisites? What TEAS score is good to get in? What do you need to apply for admission? Thank you.

@Bee86 yeah, that's a little bit strange to have gotten an automated application reply after you've already been accepted.  If you're feeling particularly uneasy I would reach out to your academic advisor and convey your concerns.  Along the way I've spoken with my advisor and even briefly with the head of the nursing department, and everyone has been kind and easygoing thus far - just make sure you are professional and tactful in your emails.

The good news is, you have received an acceptance letter and are already guaranteed a spot in the program!  Nobody will fault you for taking the initiative to make sure there are no hiccups along the way.

So I guess its normal to not receive a confirmation email after sending the acceptance email? I didn't receive any confirmation email back either

I emailed the advisor. She said we won't get a response letter. Soon we will get another email for what need to do next/. around the 4th

I created a facebook group under JTCC nursing class of 2024 for us all to chat and share some laughs!

So I guess we won’t hear anything until the 14th?

I would assume it would have to be prior to the 14th, because the acceptance letter said the Zoom link for the orientation on that day would be in the email.

Does anyone consider changing tracks?

Still waiting on the response on what to do next.

Its weird how in the dark we are. I was paranoid of them not receieving my acceptance, and I'm still not sure.

@quyenphuonghoang I'd actually prefer to be in the traditional track, but I have kids and I work full time, so I don't really have a choice - hybrid just makes the most sense for me.

Im so glad I am not the only one paranoid that they didn't receive my acceptance response ! Also the fact that we haven't been sent the information yet for the zoom orientation has been nerve racking too. Can I join that facebook group? Is it for traditional and hybrid??
