I heard through the grapevine (no, not the city ) that JPS was hiring LVN students in their last semester- does anyone know if this is true and if so, how easy is it to get in and how much is starting pay for the student?? Any help would be great!

I went to JPS nursing school years ago ( and it is closed now) and right after graduation I applied at JPS . Of Course I had trained there and they offered me 9 something a hour. I went back several years ago and reapplied and they offered me a senior LVN position at 13 a hour. I would starve. You go to Weatherford, I was there this morning taking the NET for the LVN to RN program. It is a small world.

JPS is not going to have probaly the pay that you want. JPS is a county hospital, which means the pay is lower than other hospitals.
