hey everyone- i'm an lvn student in the area and we're doing an assignment to check out different facilities which hire lvn's. my group was assigned to jps. if any of you could help me out with the following questions- it would be greatly appreciated! do lvn's hire on easily at jps? what are the various duties of lvns that work at jps? do they work regular 12 hour shifts like most hospitals? do you know what the average starting salary for a new lvn would be at jps? : thanks! audrey

I heard through the grapevine (no, not the city ) that JPS was hiring LVN students in their last semester- does anyone know if this is true and if so, how easy is it to get in and how much is starting pay for the student?? Any help would be great! Audrey- LVN student @ Weatherford College

Just curious if any of y'all know of places that hire LVN's to work in the correctional setting or if you have to be an RN before your considered?
