I received an email regarding the army, so I guess they really are taking nurses contrary to what has been posted.

The Army is full up on nurses.....that won't stop them from recruiting though for the HANDFUL of slots they have.
Don't get too excited

Better to have a bunch of applicants waiting and retrying then to completely cut off any possible candidates.
When a shortage does (and will) happen there will be plenty of people to pick and choose from in the waiting pool.

Agreed ^^
However that shouldn't stop you from trying. If you are dedicated, well trained, and lucky, you could be wearing ACUs professionally...at least until they spend another 2 billion dollars undoing the ACU mistake, and give us a new camo that just makes you miss BDUs even more.
Good Luck.

Yep, they will always recruit. The website info hasn't changed much in the last few years, but AMEDD recruiters can paint a more accurate picture. But as 504 medic said, people can try. After all, they're going to select someone ... who says it won't be you? :)
