Hi! Did not see a forum for this yet and wanted to start it. Got my acceptance for fall 2025 on 1/6!

Was just wondering what made you guys wanna go the Entry MSN route vs an ABSN vs a CC program? I know a lot of us are out of state too so I'm curious as to what made you go one route over the other

I chose MSN because I already had a bachelor degree and didn't want another. Also graduate degrees give you access to more federal financial resources

I choose MSN over ABSN or other program because I didn't want to get another bachelors. I also want to do DNP so I think MSN will be a better option( 15 credits are transferred to DNP if you choose to join JHU for DNP) . Also, if you wanna be a nurse educator you can do it after working for 1 year as a RN after getting MSN. 

I'm also planning to join out of state but, have to get financial aid figured out.

Would anybody be willing to share their experiences from the admitted students day event? I'm still in school so wasn't able to go but was really looking forward to it 🙁

I won't be committing to John's Hopkins due to the price. I will be attending a different program. I really wanted to attended jhu but in the long run I think it'll be smarter to go to a cheaper school since I'll be taking our student loans. 💔 good luck everyone! Hopefully someone's gets off the waitlist if anyone was on it :)
