Does anyone know what the typical nurse/patient ratios are @ JH (the main hospital downtown, not Bayview)? Particularly med-surg and telemetry units, but stepdown units as well, thanks!
Hello all! I am interviewing at JHH on a cardiac tele floor (Nelson 7) and osler 5. It's my first nursing interview and I'm hoping for some advice and maybe info on the floors if you have it
I work at JHUH, but not in the units that you name.
I do not know the ratios there, but I will say that the ratios in my department for my speciality, are much better than any other hospital in which I have worked, barring the NIH.
I was a traveler and have been an RN for 21 years, and have worked or done assignments in 18 facilities, 5 of whom are consistently listed as in the top 15 in the nation.
Perhaps that helps?
