Johns Hopkins/JHU Early Decision?

Students Pre-Nursing

Published

Hi all! I've been posting over in the graduate student forum, but since I only applied to the ABSN program, I thought I'd post over here to see if anyone else had heard yet!

I got my call today (I'm in! Yay!:yeah:), but I can tell from past threads that they make notification calls all week. So? What's the word? Who else has heard?

I'm in as well! :) SO EXCITED! I received my call yesterday.

I was accepted to the accelerated BSN and the MSN (currently for Public Health Nursing). Yay!

Congrats! This is my first post and I'm excited to say that I was accepted to the ABSN program! It hasn't totally sunk in though.

I just got in! I'm in the traditional program though. Now I have to figure out how to pay for it all lol.

I am in the traditional BSN program as well. Are you all going to go to accepted students day? I am also going to have to figure out how to pay for it. :)

When is it? I think he mentioned it was in Feb. I might not be able to afford it, but I'll definitely try!

Congratulations to the both of you! :)

I am so glad you both are relieved and can be extremely excited about attending with the rest of us! :)

i was told accepted students day was the 27th of February

hi all (previouly posted on the other post),

congrats and best wishes in all future endeavors to everyone who went through the wait!!!!! Acceptance or no acceptances!!!!

sorry for my lack of input... it has been exam week and I've been ridonkulously under the weather so I haven't had time to read or post. I called and inquired on wednesday and found out that I got a conditional late acceptance on the condition that my spring grades are Bs as well. Whoo Hoo!!! They explained that they couldn't give me immediate early decision because I didn't have enough academic history (only had 15 credits and submited my ED application in the middle of this 17 credit semester) but as longs as my spring grades are consistent with my current, then I am in there like booty hair : ).

I have to just submit all my transcripts from fall 08, winter (6 credits), and spring 09.

Good luck, they are still making calls!!!!

Yay I'm so excited for all of us! Now begins the process of find a way to pay for it all and housing. Does anyone know of a good area to live? Is it necessary to have a car?

Btw, if anyone has facebook, they should join the group called "Johns Hopkins Nursing Students"!

Sarah

hey there.

I live in bmore about 15 minutes from school. They have schuttles for everything and one of the current nursing students of jhuson said that if tou don't drive they will just make all your clinicals at hopkins or other immidiate locations until you decide you want to venture on the bus or an alternative way. Being a student at JHUSON has very many perks!!!!
