Hi Everyone,

I wanted to start a thread for the Johns Hopkins Entry into Nursing MSN program for August 2021 applicants. I started my application this week, aiming to get it in well before the November 1st deadline . Anyone else??

I’ve been thinking about this for a few weeks now. When I was waiting for decisions for undergrad I had no idea when they were coming out and was totally fine waiting. And was ecstatic when the acceptance came in the mail (regular mail). Now hearing about possible release dates and when other people get their decisions is a bit of a stressor.

I’m a long time lurker and I’m still waiting to hear back. These memes give me life and a good laugh? thank you so much for making us laugh ?through this stress and anxiety of waiting. Immense congratulations for all those that have been accepted! ❤️❤️ So happy for you guys!

 I’m waiting on 2 schools at the moment, JHU being one of them. I’m also applying to 2 more that start in the fall as backup.

I apologize if this has been spoken about already in this thread (it's now 44 pages long), but does anyone know if Fall 2021 is expected to be in-person?

I know a lot of schools, and not just nursing schools, are ambiguous about whether Fall 2021 classes will be in-person. I know that clinicals, labs, practicums, etc. will definitely be in-person. So probably 2-3 days per week must be on campus. Pre-pandemic students already had the option to take other more theory-based courses online or in-person. So the question is if these courses will have the option of being in-person again. They'll probably say something about all of this at accepted students events!

I just called admissions and left a voice mail, and also emailed them to see if I can get my decision before I submit my deposit for another school tomorrow. I will keep you updated!
