Johns Hopkins Entry into Nursing (MSN) Fall 2021

Hi Everyone,

I wanted to start a thread for the Johns Hopkins Entry into Nursing MSN program for August 2021 applicants. I started my application this week, aiming to get it in well before the November 1st deadline . Anyone else??

I might ask.. I mean what difference does it make at this point? They've already made their decisions, right? haha

They don't have a special event today, but they have something called "chat & chew" everyday from 12-1 where you can just drop in without an appointment to talk to someone from admissions through a zoom link they have on their website.

Hi everyone/happy new year!

Yes, the wait is killing me, I hope everyone is doing okay. Hopefully, we hear from them soon. Thanks to everyone who has been really supportive in the group, your words and encouragement have really helped me with my stress. Hopkins is the only school I applied to. Their program fits my needs in so many ways. Is anyone relying on student loans 100%?

Hi Everyone!!

 I came looking for a thread to hopefully calm my anxiety and here you are! LOL. I emailed admissions earlier this week on Jan 5th and was told decisions would be going out via email within the next 2 weeks. So so very nervous but wishing everyone luck!!

Two weeks ????? I hope it’s sooner. I was thinking like Monday of this week!!

Someone on this thread had mentioned (I think after Jan. 5) that admissions said they would be releasing early this week so I really really hope it's tomorrow.

I think it would happen in the second week of January at the least. 

I am 100% relying on student loans. I do have reservations about this if I were to be accepted as I already have a large loan dept. from undergrad. I suppose it will depend on scholarship amount but it does concern me. 

If I were to stay here in my home state and accept my spot in the ABSN program this Summer I would save soooooo much money. So yeah..

Apply for grants and scholarships too! Don’t overload yourself with debt if you don’t have to. I’m hoping their financial aid award is a substantial amount

If not tomorrow, I am sure someone will ask during the information session Tuesday LOL
