Hi Everyone,
I wanted to start a thread for the Johns Hopkins Entry into Nursing MSN program for August 2021 applicants. I started my application this week, aiming to get it in well before the November 1st deadline . Anyone else??
Hey everyone! I was accepted for Spring 2021, but have been following this thread. Everyone will be notified via email whether you are accepted, rejected, or waitlisted. Sometimes they come out in random, scheduled batches. I received my email on a Monday morning at 9am. If people hear something back before you do, it does not automatically mean you were rejected or waitlisted. Good luck! ??

Ahhh that first sentence almost gave me a heart attack ??. When do you start the Spring 2021 semester? Also, if you don't mind me asking, what were your stats like GPA, research, jobs, prereq grades, etc.?

Ahh, I’m sorry for giving you a mini heart attack! ? We have our white coat ceremony 01/21 and class begins 01/25. However, JHU has been keeping up busy with a few pre-enrollment trainings and compliance requirements.
I actually did not apply early decision. I applied later in the game and assumed I’d be waitlisted at best and have things to tweak for the following application cycle. But I was accepted! My GPA was a 3.8 overall and in the prerequisites, I was a CNA in Alzheimers and then Rehab for a total of 18mos experience, I did some diversity research in undergrad, I worked with kids in foster care, and I studied abroad in Puerto Rico doing things like needle exchange, hurricane relief, etc.
