Johns Hopkins Entry into Nursing (MSN) Fall 2021

Hi Everyone,

I wanted to start a thread for the Johns Hopkins Entry into Nursing MSN program for August 2021 applicants. I started my application this week, aiming to get it in well before the November 1st deadline . Anyone else??

I am in the exact same situation (applied for Jan. deadline) and was also unaware of the lengthy verification process ?. I am hoping that it will not impact my chances for admission. Like you, I was waiting for grades. As you said, if it is meant to be it will! Good luck!

Hey! Me again! I just got an email from another school regarding the NursingCas and the verification of my application. It's frustrating because I submitted this application on the first of December and Im just getting this email now. I did what you did and just called them, they were able to confirm that they would have my transcript copied by Wednesday the sixth, and then verified by Monday the tenth. The school did mention that they would still look at my application because it was submitted before the deadline. 

I imagine this happens all the time, especially if there are multiple transcripts and schools that need verification, it just sucks that the initiative isn't there unless we call to get them to help us push this through. The guy on the phone was super apologetic though, and mentioned that they keep trying to update their systems to understand this "multiple transcript" issue and automate the process. Im not mad or annoyed, it just gave me instant anxiety and concern about my application. After the conversation with confirmation and such, I forwarded the email to the admissions email the school provides and confirmed the following and told them I would follow up if it is not completed in the timeline provided. 

Im sure I am going to get the same email from JHUSON if they contact me before the verification process is complete, so I just hope it is done before then.

On a better note, GOOD LUCK to those getting responses this week! I wishing the best for you all, and hopefully we celebrate together!

If admissions is saying, the 8th-11th does that mean emails will go out over the weekend as well?

I know no one knows the answer to this.. but I thought we could have a pointless, in depth conversation about it anyways just to appease my anxiety, haha.
