Is anybody applying to the DNP program at Johns Hopkins University for the Fall 2018 term? Has anybody heard anything? or how difficult is it to get in the program? average GPA?

Hi TeachEm,

I applied for the Post-RN (BSN) AG Primary Care DNP program. Hope that helps!

Hi everyone. I just got my interview email and scheduled for a videoconference next week. I'm pretty excited, but at the same time I'm trying to find more information on how the JHU program is. Just looking at the tuition fee scares me a little bit. Good luck to everyone!

Congrats! Which program did you apply for?

Thank you! Yes, I received an email notification today and scheduled it for this upcoming week. So soon...so nerve-wrecking! Hopefully you hear something soon!

Hi RiaC

Just wondering how your interview went? And any advice you can give.

Interview went okay I think. I could've done better, but I could've done worse too. I would say just try to be yourself. Make sure you can explain why you want to pursue this degree and your career goals. A lot of the questions seem to be similar to the things they asked in the personal statement. Of course, we are applying to different programs so questions might differ? Not sure. Did you hear back? Admissions told me they were trying to get out decisions before the holiday break for all who applied for the Nov. 1st deadline.

Hi Everyone!

Just wondering if anyone has heard any news or have any updates? The waiting has made me a nervous wreck lol.

I haven't heard anything yet :/ I called and they said they are still reviewing applications based on submition.

Has anyone heard anything after their interview??? The waiting is killing me

Nope. I called yesterday and they said they are making every effort to get decisions out by the end of December for those that applied for the Nov. 1st deadline. So I guess next week? Did you apply for the Nov. 1st deadline or the Jan. 1st deadline?

My interview was last week and I have been beating myself up for it cause I feel like I could of done better but like you said it could been worse. I applied before November 1st.

I know! I keep going over responses in my head which is not helpful and definitely makes the anxiety worse. My interview was 2 weeks ago and I've been stressing since then. I was really hoping we'd find out before Christmas...

Hey all! I applied for the Adult Gero Primary Care program and I am still waiting to hear back too. My interview was on December 5th, anxious to find out!
