Hi all, this is my first allnurses post!
I applied for early decision to JHSON BSN-DNP FNP Fall 2020 program and have interviewed. Now nervously awaiting decisions, I wanted to create a place for everyone to share decision announcements for all specialty programs.
Thanks everyone and good luck ?

Hey there! Hopkins usually offers some sort of nursing leadership scholarship with every admission. If you haven't received that email after a week or so, I'd call to see if you can be considered for financial aid. Otherwise, it's up to you to find outside funding or loans, unfortunately.

Thank you @frenchmafia! My application has just been verified by NursingCAS so I'm still waiting for JHU to review it. I will definitely ask them about my options when I get to that point and will weigh the pros and cons.
@powerpuffnurse1 I have the same question and went to the previous threads to look for answers - none so far. Are you currently in the program, if so, what are you thoughts on the online program? Thank you for sharing!
Hi! I am in the second year of my program. It has been extremely tough with COVID, but the professors are all very understanding and willing to work with you. It is definitely a lot to handle as you have to organize your schedule to make sure you do not get behind. The first year was definitely really tough, but I think the second year gets a lot easier as you make friends through your classmates. Clinicals has also been EXTREMELY hard to attain due to COVID unfortunately.
Thank you for the insights. Johns Hopkins says they have a system to help find clinical for you. How helpful is the system? What percent of effort would you say you have to put into to find sites? I am leaning towards attending the program remotely, and I currently work at a clinic that has taken DNP students before. However, I would also like to explore other sites within the state.
