John Tyler Nursing Program Spring 2015

U.S.A. Virginia

Hi,

I'm just curious if anyone applied for JTCC nursing program for Spring 2015? I applied in August and heard there was a lot of applicants this semester.

Yes, I did! I haven't heard anything about the applicant pool. Did you hear anything about the stats? GPAs? Test scores? I know they never say what the average GPA is, but with a large applicant pool it has to way up there.

Yes I also applied. I have not heard anything about applications or anything.

I did call they said they received over 200 applicants and this semester is the most applicants they had in a long time. I am now very worried because I don't have a 4.0 gpa. I'm curious to know if any of you'll are willing to share your gpa?

I dont have a excellant gpa. I hve a 3.3.

I applied too. I can't wait to hear if I got accepted or not. My gpa is a 3.5. What's yours KRYSTRA1?

I applied, as well. I submitted my application with a 3.2 gpa and a TEAS score of 93%. I know these aren't the best stats, but I've spent 2 years trying to salvage my gpa from the wreckage of my first semesters at JTCC. This is the first school in the area that I've applied to, so we will see how it goes!

I don't think its fair that they only go by gpa. Everybody doesn't have the best gpa. But if they would factor in the teas and even the essay it would be more of a balance I think.

I attended an information session last month, and they said that, starting next application period, they will factor in the teas test scores along with the gpa, instead of just using the test test as a tie breaker.

I guess we are all in the same boat my GPA is 3.5. I didn't do the best on the TEAS if I do have to apply again I will have to retake the Teas I got like a 66%. This will be my second time taking it and they said you only get three times ever to take it unless a different version comes out. I hope to hear soon. I can't stand this waiting, lol.

Which program did you all apply for? The traditional or hybrid? I applied to the traditional.

I applied to both.
