John Tyler - Fall 2016

Published

Who is planning on applying for the JTCC programs for Fall, 2016?

I'm only applying to the hybrid track (thanks to my little kiddos at home, lol)!

Does anyone know if it's advantageous to apply to only one track or two both?

Oy, another week...:(

Anyone heard anything yet??

No! So frustrating!

Why won't nursing school send out acceptance letters?!?!?!

:(

I'm a little frustrated with the fact that they don't know which week they are telling us OR if it will be through mail or email... How do they not know? If I just had the information, I wouldn't feel so anxious waiting. I've been checking my email and mailbox repeatedly in hopes they tell us this week, but I'm sure it won't be til next week if they really have pushed it back. I'm nervous because even though I did really well on my TEAS, you just never know what could happen.

Yes, I totally agree. I wonder if they pushed it forward because of the extension they gave due to the snow. It was only a 2 day extension. Next week will be going on 9 WEEKS! I feel like it should be an easier process since they are ranking students based on objective numbers now.

And, yeah, I am fully expecting to get in, but you never know!

I would guess they do know roughly when and exactly how they will notify applicants, and we know from posts here that recent applicant pools were notified by email. Keep in mind, though, that the person who answers the phone in the nursing department has answered countless calls from applicants for every applicant pool for as long as she's worked there, and can't really help us much anyway - we just have to wait!

I'm really hoping all of this anxiety and waiting is worth it....No news might be good news for everyone as I've heard from multiple people rejections go out before the acceptances are sent out

I'm trying to be patient but it's so hard! My acceptance or rejection affects so much! I can't move forward with things until I know!!

Yea I totally understand how you feel. I've got a lot pending on this decision too....I feel like we've all been more than patient!

I am in a position where I am all set up for an acceptance letter, however if I get a rejection letter instead, not much will change for me. The biggest issue at this point is that if I get rejected, I wind up being several months behind where my family and I are planning for me to have an income again.
