Hi!! I started this thread for all those who plan on applying for the JTCC Spring 18 RN session. (Hybrid or traditional)
Anybody who has previously applied to the JTCC program please feel free to join the discussion and tell us applicants how the application process went as well as how the nursing program went or is going!!
Best of luck to everyone who applies!!
Yes it's somewhat similar to Bon secours, but a little less money and it's not a BSN program, just an RN program like John Tyler's is.
You're exactly right though! I refuse to be the student that calls and asks about their application and whether or not they've gone through all the applicants yet. I don't need to give them any reason to cross me off the list!
My TEAS were good, I got an A in all the pre-reqs, and my GPA from my bachelor's degree at VCU was a 3.6, so hopefully all things considered, I'll be fine. It'll be a relief when we find out.
I'm currently in micro & A&P 2! I'm also working so time has flown by since I submitted the app! Just a few more weeks...

I never knew they had a program! I assume it's similar to Bon Secours' program. My goal is to try and stay positive because ultimately at this point, it is out of our hands. I think so long as you did well on the TEAS and live in the service area, you will get in no problem. Are you currently taking classes at JTCC? I'm taking A&P 2 and that has definitely helped with the anxiety haha
