Hey guys I wanted to start a board for those who have applied to John Peter Smith in Fort Worth. Applications closed on the 29th and the follow up documents were due on the 4th. Hoping people can share here if they have heard anything back!

Which units did you preference? And when did you schedule your interview for?

I chose two med surg units and one progressive care unit. It is a hiring fair on Tuesday from 12:30-4:30 but they schedule you for a specific time to meet with people from your unit preferences

Dang then I probably won’t get a call since it’s already Thursday afternoon. That’s a bummer!

I sent a follow up email yesterday because I figured if I turned my documents (transcript, prompt response, unit preferences etc) in on the 31st then it's been 2 weeks and that's appropriate. I got a response saying ill get an update on the status of my application either by phone or email at the latest by Feb 18 which is Monday. I didn't hear from them today so I assume I'll get some sort of in person interview or rejection notice on Monday.

I have applied for the July 2020 program and would love to hear from anyone currently going through - the good, the bad, questions to ask? Pay range? Other hospitals have posted, but I haven't seen anything on JPS. Full disclosure -- I currently work there in a clerical position.
