I'm starting this thread if anyone wants to share if they applied to this program! I submitted my application Jan 3rd and it is currently under review. I am hoping to get an interview for critical care ?

Oh nice! That’s great!! How was your interview? Was it basically behavior questions similar to the ICU interviews from last week? Like why you want to become a nurse, patient decompensating etc?

yep those were exactly it. super fast paced 30 min. some time for questions at the end.

Mentioned I was interested in PCU/telemetry in my cover letter and there were managers from both PCU and ICU there. Like everyone else said. Questions are very straightforward and all behavioral "tell me a time when...". Good luck everyone!

Got an offer today with PCU at Walnut Creek, so it seems like they are reaching out!

Hi y'all, 

I won't be applying until later. But was wondering how did y'all apply? Was there a separate application portal for the new grad program? Or we just select any clinical nurse I job? I can't seem to find information when the next cohort starts and where to apply

I will be graduating in June, but am feeling anxious about the whole new grad process.

there will be a specific job posting for the new grad program. it should say something about "new grad" or "nurse residency" and have information about the program. I would just keep a look out around forums or checking with classmates about when it opens up, or you could just email John Muir directly to ask when the next application period will open.

Anyone interview yet for any of the Med/Surg units? It sounds like they interviewed for the critical care units first. Not sure yet about Med/Surg.

Hi all! Best of luck to everyone I got offered a position at their Walnut Creek in their PCU (night shift) this AM. If anyone was also curious starting pay is 68 w/ a $5 evening differential and a $7 night differential
