Nurses Recovery

Published

Wondering, where are some good places to apply that hire RNs with a restricted license? The only work restriction I have is direct supervision which means I have to give my CM a list of 3 supervisors and I can only be scheduled to work when they are present (they need to be on the premises, not standing over my shoulder). I should say my license is restricted due to DUIs I had before I became a nurse, they have nothing to do with anything I did AS a nurse. I have 2 years of experience as a RN in LTC and for the last year I was working on the rehab floor. I have good references. I want to get out of LTC though. Any suggestions?

Gradlpnlady, where do you work?

Specializes in CNA for 20 years and just completed LPN school..

Look at guardian healthcare, these are LTC facilities mostly. The administrator I currently have is the one that stated that she has approved ppl in these programs. So unless you have abuse on your record they are willing to monitor those that had a DUi or drug addiction. I'm in Pennsylvania. But I know Guardian is everywhere.
