I really need to get a job ASAP, but I need to know which hospitals are willing to sponsor me for a working visa/ green card....

could you tell me some of the names of hospitals that are willing to sponsor in California, Michigan and Boston?? thank you so much!!!

To my understanding, all of those areas have a surplus of domestic nurses unable to get jobs, thus will not be able to sponsor outside the country. In addition, depending on your country, retrogression is in effect and there is a wait for 2-5 years or more wait.

Some people seek to work here, with an H1B - unfortunately unless you have specialty experience, that does not apply.

You probably need to have an admin. move this post to the International forum. And you also probably need to review many of the posts there about immigration.

I know that you do not care to hear this but there are no shortcuts, easy fixes or quick ways to legally work in the USA. Especially when there are so many locals out of work.

Doesn't matter if hospitals are willing, there are no visas available for you to adjust status.

Why should international job seekers get jobs in America when American citizens are available to take those nursing jobs. Perhaps your skills and training could be used in your home country. It's bad enough when jobs are being shipped overseas, now International job seekers are coming here and taking jobs from American nurses who are out of work.

Maybe it's for the same reason America goes to the third world countries to drill for oil and bauxite and pay these very countries little to nothing for it. It's called reverse-colonialism!
