jobs accepts international petition

hi! i'm a recent graduate of nursing and would like to ask for some help, what company can i apply that accepts petition/sponsorship? please help. thanks guys.

Have not seen one hospital in more than one year that is willing to petition from NY. You will find nursing homes, and some agencies that have been documented to take advantage of nurses doing it, but definitely do not recommend either.

Have you actually passed the NCLEX-RN exam? Without that, nothing can be done.

no, i just passed my local board, and planning to take nclex this year. suzanne, may i know why nursing homes or agencies isn't recommended? please help.. i'm planning to have an agency petition for me, what's the best thing that you can advise?

reasons nursing homes are not recommended as you are expected to look after a large amount of patients and have very little US nursing experience to support what is expected of RN. Suggest you read sticky on agencies but a lot take advantage and charge lots of $$ when it doesn't really cost that much if doing alone. Also when doing it alone you have more control on where you end up not always the case with agency

most of us pinoys have no other choice but to pass thru agency, just be keen on all the items in the contract before signing
