JOBLESS MAY 08 New Grad RN

Hi Everyone,

I graduate May 08 from with a BSN. I have NJ and NY licensed and I still don't have a job yet. I've applied everywhere within a 1-2 hour radius from me and still no response. Does anybody know of any hospitals, sub-acute/long-term facilities hiring right now? I'm about to lose it!!! Pleaassse!!! It would be greatly appreciated!!

You should subscribe to the free nursing magazines. Like Advance or Spectrum. That is where all the hospitals etc post jobs. You can go to their webites to subscribe. You get them in the mail biweekly. All you need is an RN license to get them free!

They are jobs out there. As a matter of fact, healthcare is the only sector of the economy that is hiring now. Hang in there!

Have you tried any staffing agancies? White Glove and Gotham are some of the largest in Mahattan.
