Job opportunities for New Grads

Published

Since it appears that many new grads like myself are having a hard time finding work in this down economy, I thought I'd do my good deed for the day and share some job opportunities for new grads I have found over the past couple of weeks. Best of luck, everyone!

That's really a good deed. I actually looked for almost every hospital here in SoCal. I applied at UCLA, UCSD, Tri-City and Sharp. Still waiting for now. I hope I get in. Where did you apply?

Specializes in Trauma ICU, Peds ICU.

I have truly never understood why someone in already stiff competition for limited positions would want to expand the applicant pool by spreading the word.

URfoxyRN also waiting on UCSD, Sharp, tricity plus the hospital in Murrietta also.

I have truly never understood why someone in already stiff competition for limited positions would want to expand the applicant pool by spreading the word.

The job openings are public most of the time. Why would anyone be selfish and not spread the word to help others out? To be honest I think that's what's wrong with the job opportunities right now, people aren't willing to reach their hand out to help someone. Its all about what "I" have if "I" did it this way then they should too some people should really stop thinking like that.
