Background checks are not cheap, so if they fingerprinted you, depending on what it shows, I would think that they will call you with an offer. Of course, you can always call the DON and ask her. Better yet, send her a thank you note, which I understand is THE thing to do after any interview, whether an offer has been made or not. Good luck...hope it turns out well for you.
ALWAYS send a thank you note after an interview. Do it the same day if possible. It is one more way to make the interviewer remember you. It also gives you an opportunity to clarify any points or add any information you might have forgotten to mention.
Things sound pretty good. They wouldn't fingerprint you if they weren't at least interested.

Alright, so I had my first job interview today, (ever! since out of nursing school), I was so nervous, and I know she could probably tell, but I think overall it went pretty well. I really like the DON, she was very friendly and it was a really good experience. So I wanted to ask, I got a tour of the facility, met the people who work there, and I am to get my fingerprints done soon, does this mean I am hired?
I am really excited about this place, it is super nice, and the people there seemed really friendly...anyways, any input is appreciated :)
