Job interview issues

So Ive been working 2 jobs (my main job FT and an additional PT) for a few years and this last one has grown old so I have 2 interviews set up for tomorrow for PT jobs. Position #1 is at a newer sub acute type hospital probably a little easier but pays less and has had job openings for the past few months. Position #2 is on a tele floor in a hospital similar to my FT job, similar prestige, pay & benefits. I would like to work at position #2 to keep my options open in the future and go into CC possibly at some point but it is my 2nd interview of the day. My question is how do I keep interview#1 & 2nd choice interested in me while I wait for a reply from job #2?

I've always been offered jobs after the interview and I have a hunch that I will be asked when I can start at my 2nd choice. I also know that my 1st choice will have a lot of interviews, or maybe not, how many experienced RN's are looking for PT noc jobs?

So if my 1st interview asks for a start time should I say I do have another interview before I make a selection?

You do not have to say you have another interview, but instead, say that you want a day or two to think it over, to make sure it will be a good fit for you.

Best wishes!

i think you should act like you really want the job, give them what they want at the first interview, doesn't mean you would start immediately, and kinda delay orientation at the first interview until the second is over.
