I didn't see a thread already. Is anyone applying for Spring 2019?
Hey everyone I applied also. Does anyone know when they will be sending out decisions? I just got into Duke and I have to accept/decline by the end of july but I really like Hopkins. I know they evaluate applications as they come in (that's why they suggest applying as early as possible) but do they still release all the decisions at once?
Sorry for replying back so late. I was unable to attend the JHU summer information session, but I found a virtual one recently posted on their website, and I found it to be really helpful. I was late to the game for this July 1 deadline, so I am going to apply for Fall 2019 instead. I wish you all luck! JHU is a dream school!
Finally got the email that my application had been verified! I submitted back on June 12, but one of my references was a hold out until the last possible minute (she literally submitted on 6/31). So now the waiting begins! My cumulative GPA is lower than I'd like, but I am a non-traditional student. My last 60 or so credits are close to a 3.8 (I didn't care about school in my early 20's, but when I finished my BS in my early 30's, I did much better). So I wrote an addendum. I am really hoping that helps!

I'm with you on that MSN/DNP pathway. Becoming a Psychiatric Mental Health NP is in the back of my mind.
I was just reading information about BSN versus MSN/DNP today because I was curious to know the difference. I learned that you can take on different roles with a Master's (i.e. RN, or become an APRN/Nurse Educator/Healthcare Business Management/Clinical Care Roles)! Without a doubt, having an advanced degree will make you more competitive in the job market.
With that said, I hope things work out, and I wish you all the best!
