Jefferson Fact 1 May 2019 Center City

Nursing Students School Programs

Published

Hey Everyone!

I've been trying to find a thread for the 2019 Fact in CC, but haven't really found anything so I wanted to start this for prospective students! Has anyone applied and heard back? I completed my application on the 29th and am impatiently waiting! What other schools are you guys applying to?

I just got an email to schedule for th interview too!

I have an interview as well! Any tips?

Hi everyone! I also interviewed on Wednesday 9/19 :) Been checking my email like crazy ever since...

Good luck to everyone here! I stalked the last couple allnurses forums prior to my interview, and it was all pretty much the same. Really relaxed and I never felt like I was competing with anyone in my group. They just asked why nursing, qualities of a nurse, and a question like how you handled a difficult/stressful situation, how you worked with someone with different values than yourself, etc. Honestly the hardest part for me is this WAITING after the interview...!

Thanks for your post about the interview! I am anxious to see how long after the interview for acceptances....

I'm guessing from reading through all of the previous cohort forums that a decision is given within 2-3 weeks.

Thanks so much for starting this thread. Just submitted my application today! Hope all goes well. Good luck to everyone who has applied and congrats to everyone who has gotten in :)

Hi Kristal189, Congrats on your acceptance to ! Did you apply to the Drexel Ace program?

How long after your application submission did you receive an email about an interview?

I'm so glad someone started a thread on this! I applied in June and haven't heard back yet, I emailed 3 weeks ago to follow up and Jackie said that my application hadn't been reviewed yet and that hopefully I'll hear back soon but I'm getting really nervous! I got into Gwynedd Mercy for January 2019 but Jefferson's my top choice

You guys!! I just got accepted! I am so excited it is hard to type this. Ok so I sent in my application on Aug 6, Transcripts received Sept 7, Interviewed 9/19, and 7 days later here I am! Good luck to everyone during this stressful time, hope I get to meet you all!

Congratulations! I had my interview today and it was just as others have said in previous forums. There was around 12-15 of us. We watched a short video about the program. Then, we were asked two questions that we had to write some bullet points about. We were spilt into groups of 3-4 and interviewed by different advisors. The questions we were asked were the ones we wrote the bullet points about and you can look at what you wrote during the interview. The interview portion was very chill and afterwards we had to write answers to a few questions regarding why we wanted to be a nurse (took about 15 minutes).

I did! I applied at the end of august! Their application process is completely different. No interview, essay, recommendations. pretty simple which i'm kind of shocked about.
