Hi my name is Nicole I currently attend Jeff State at the Jefferson Campus. I applied for the nursing summer program and would like to see who else applied. Also any concerns, advice and encouragement that we could possibly give or tell each other!!!! Good Luck to all!!!!

I too have applied for the summer semester. Hoping that we will know by the end of the month whether we are in or not.

From reading some of the posts from the previous cohorts I'm a lil worried about starting FT in the summer....:unsure:

Well I turned in my application today. I am applying with 170.5 points! I am praying it is enough. Mrs. Johnson said I had a pretty good chance, but I am just being a debbie downer!

Hey everybody! FYI the deadline to apply to the summer nursing program has been pushed back to the 14th I believe! Which is great because I dont have my H.S. transcripts from WI yet! But I will be applying with 180 points and a 3.1 GPA and a previous B.S. degree! Not going to work myself up and lose sleep. I have challenged myself and I am going to keep working hard no matter what! Good luck to yall! keep me posted!!!

I'm hoping it's still at the end of the month even tho we had that extension. It should be since orientation starts in March or so I was told.

I applied for summer 2014 to the Hoover campus, but I put Jefferson as my second choice. After reading reviews, I feel like I should have put Jefferson first! Kinda scared!

Idk if my first post came through, but less people are probably applying because due to the snow! People were suppose to retake their test on the 12th so and I know they haven't extendes the deadline. Also, I think the score will be lower because a lot of people are applying under 177.

I just applied for the program too, so glad I found this site! Does anyone know how long it'll take them to tell us if we got in since orientation is in March?

They said middle of march or end. What was your score if you dont mind me asking?

I'm applying with 167 points. I have all B's for the point system and only made a 68% on the TEAS (102 points). I figured why not go ahead and try.

I am only applying with a 170.5! Hopefully a lot of people are applying lower! Better chances for us:)
