Hi my name is Nicole I currently attend Jeff State at the Jefferson Campus. I applied for the nursing summer program and would like to see who else applied. Also any concerns, advice and encouragement that we could possibly give or tell each other!!!! Good Luck to all!!!!
She said it just depends. What they do is put it all in the computer, and the computer takes the highest score and drops down to 100 people. That is how it is determined. She said 170.5 isn't bad for the summer because a lot of people don't apply. So cross your fingers lol I hope no one applied above 180:) Also, some people that apply will be automatically cut because of backgrounds and holdsand stuff at school.

I really hope so. I saw a girl on the summer 2013 hopefuls had a 166 and got in. I just haven't seen anyone else with a low score like mine applying. I'm thinking it may be in our favor though because of the winter storms and stuff.
Hi all! im applying this summer also. im applying with 174.5 and a 3.69 gpa. i only made a 63 on my teas but my grades were able to get me a alright overall score. I pray that i get in the summer because i wanna graduate by december next year. My only problem is im applying with just my past 13 credit hrs and am taking another 13 hrs at the moment. I saw on the requirements sheet that i need a 2.5 for 24 prior credit hrs so i dont know how thats suppose to work out. When i finish this sem ill have 26 credit hrs so im just praying everything will be alright. Im taking my anatomy 2 this sem along side eng 101 speech and human growth and development. Anyone got some tips for me or have encountered what im taking about with the credit hours?
Honestly I think you will be fine! A lot of people apply and still have to take most of there classes!! All they do is look and make sure your gpa is over 2.5, and it doesn't matter how many credit hours you have. I was going to apply last semester and I still had a lot of classes to take, but I had to make high on my teas test and I didn't do well that time. If you have the points then your good the advisor would encourage you to apply!
Yes! 1 is Jefferson for me:)

I really hope so... I'm so worried. Did the adviser tell you what the summer cut off or median usually is?
