Jeff State Fall 2014 Hopefuls

Hey everyone! I know this is sort of early, but I am planning on applying for the Fall 2014 nursing program at the Jeff State / Center Point campus! Looking for other Fall hopefuls :nurse::up:

Yes, and I am getting sooo impatient! Lol! I'm just ready to know! I ordered my stethoscope today. Really hope I get in for the fall, but even if not I'll need the stethoscope. I just don't want to have to spend all that money at one time!

Does anyone receive financial aid? I'm wondering, if I decide to buy the new book bundle, do they let you "charge it" until you get your aid check like they do for pre req books? I need to know if I need to save the money up to get them, or if it will be charged like normal books.

Charge it?! I've been paying out of pocket without my loan checks! Dang!

They let you get them before you receive your loan check, and you have to write them a personal check, but they hold that check until two weeks after classes start - to give you time to receive your check. So I call it "charging" lol.

Hmmm I did not know this! I paid out of pocket last time for books and just waited on my refund check to put it back because I wasn't familiar with the process.

Someone actually told me about it. Believe me the financial aid people sure don't tell you anything!

I took it at Shelby last semester. Are you doing hybrid or on-site?

If you're doing hybrid, you will likely be able to re-take your online tests multiple times to get your desired grade. Our professor STRONGLY encouraged us to re-take all of the tests until we got 100%. HTH :)

I am doing the on campus class with web required. I think I like this class better than I did my last bio 201 class because this class is a WHOLE lot organized and put together. Hoping to pass with an A"

So has anyone heard anything yet ? There are so many conflicting versions of how we will find out - email or phone call ?! Haha. I'm anxiously awaiting both ! Good Luck Everyone !

I don't think anybody has heard, but I think email (both pipeline and the personal on file) will be how we find out. It will probably be mid-late June!
