personal info: not married, no children! only 20 years old - i cried my eyes out when i got my acceptance letter. i am so excited and honored to begin nursing school. at the same time i am struggling with self-doubt and scared because of my age (i don't know very many 20 year olds going for their rn) and i am scared people won't take me seriously.
anything else you want to share: i take things maybe a little too seriously, especially for my age. i do not smoke or drink. i am 'book smart' - hoping i can be nursing smart as well. i do love to laugh though and love meeting new people and enjoy living life... my whole world consists of my family and friends and boyfriend of 2 years.

you will do great you will see it's such a close group working with people who have the same interests goals, and desires as you!
i am 39, my two friends that are starting the nursing program with me are 43 and 23 i couldn't tell you which is which, i just know they are nice people hard working and i can depend on them!

you'll be fine! i'm 18 (since august) and am finishing up my first sem. of nursing school this week. i did my prereqs in high school and clep'd out of a lot of stuff. i got accepted the first time too. i just wanted to let you know that it'll be awesome! and there are some middle-aged women that have just been so nice in class. i feel like i have a few extra mothers. haha! and if you work hard and know your stuff you won't have any problem with people not believing you or giving you a hard time. you prove yourself, just like everyone else does. one word of warning though... if you are the youngest, they'll call you the "baby" and you will get blamed for random things (whether you did it or not). hahaha! good luck! and enjoy it... it's fun. =) i've loved it.

school history: bs in education, done with all pre-reqs
personal info: married, 1 dog, have been trying to get pregnant for 3 years and still planning to try thru nursing school, someone may think it's not a good idea but i'm 35 and clock is ticking.
how are you preparing?: done with background check & drug screening, done physical & immunization but still waiting on my chest x-ray results, bought most of required books, ordered uniform/shoes/stethoscope. we have to study 8 chapters by the first day of class so i'm already doing homework. also organizing my finances and finishing house remodeling so for 2 years house projects wouldn't bother me.
wish everyone best of luck!!
