Hi. Anyone apply for Aria SON? for January 2012 start?:)
Hi Jwow! - There was nothing besides regular mail. I had gotten over the point of being too anxious but now it's beginning to build up again. Am assuming you didn't get anything either.
@ YYKS - I hear you. Unfortunately am not brave enough to call Julie and ask. Lets hope we get something at least over the weekend.
wow thanks for that info @ Kels11! I really appreciate you calling.... was that all your convo mentioned?!! whaaat is taking them so long? I'm sure you have no idea, just venting. Playing this game all of next week too is going to be exhausting! at least we all know we still have some time. !
I was told today by a work mate, no news is good news. I was hoping someone would say they got something in the mail. Well, we just have to hang in tight guys. My second option is to apply to Burlington County College but am just hoping to get into Aria Health. I've never really enjoyed going to BCC though I did have a some good teachers.
** Here's something to think about - I have a cousin who recently graduated (May)with a BSN in nursing and still doesn't have a job. She's in TX and every time she applies, she's told she needs at least one yr of experience. Also, she missed the deadlines for internships, so it's been difficult for her to get in. Her priority is to work in a hospital. Have you guys done any research on job prospects? Have you, if not thought of ways to have at least some sort of experience in the medical field. In most cases, being a CNA helps. I did CNA but never really got to work as one.
@YYKS -- I've applied to Neumann, Gwyndd Mercy and Cedar Crest. Aria was the only diploma program I applied to...financially it's the best road to take and the education is excellant with a high NCLEX pass rate. All the colleges I applied to have evening programs...although the tuition is 20K+ higher.
@wontgiveup -- I recently started applying to hospitals as an unit clerks/patient interviewers...(one) for their tuition reimbursement...and (two)in order to get my foot in the door....expose myself to more medical terminology and being around nurses/docs/patients/families.
Hello Everybody,
I'm super late to joining this, but I too applied for admission for January 2012!...
I have a 2.984 GPA ...and I got A 70 on my teas . I have no idea what is taking so long for decision letters!.... It's driving me nuts! My gpa nor my teas score was that high so I'm really anxious!
