2012 January Aria students?

Hi. Anyone apply for Aria SON? for January 2012 start?:)

@ Kels- welcome! I'm sure it was great to fid this thread; gret way to communicate with others that are going through the same thing! Where do you fall in the applicant pool? New student, or older returning student? did you interview? are you done all prerequisites? all info is good! good luck!!

@bumblebee-- Just wondering--- do acceptance letters come by themselves or also with a large information packet? IE- will the envelope only have one piece of paper in it or should we expect it to be thick? I know, crazy, I'm JW what to expect in the mail, and if only those that are denied will get a thin envelope!? ahh the waiting game!

Hi Jwow- I am a new student. I finished all my pre-reqs at gcc. I did not interview, that's what makes me nervous. I sent my application back in Feb and went online to schd my TEAS for August. Well July came around and I still didn't have conformation for the test so I called and Julie set me up. I got all my documents and took the TEAS just before the cut off date.

awesome! I don't think the interview is a make or break deal, just another way to present yourself outside of the application. My GPA isn't that good (3.1) but luckily I ranked in the 95th percentile on the TEAS so I'm hoping that makes up for it! How bout you? I'm 25, live in Glenside, and graduated from Temple a few years ago! This waiting is tortureee!!

Oh good! My GPA is 3.3 and I am not sure how I ranked on TEAS?!? Where do you find that info at? I'm 30, live in Williamstown, NJ. So your all done your pre-reqs too, that's great. I know, I can't take waiting! I'm so nervous. Not sure what to do if I don't get accepted. I guess wait it out another year...which I so don't want to do. My fingers are crossed.

Log onto the ATI website, use your log in info, and click "test results". GOOD LUCK!

ouch i didnt think of it that way...small envelope vs large envelope :uhoh3:

yes i received my acceptance letter in a large (paper size) white envelope with a thick amount of other papers of things we have to do, fill out...etc.

Still in RAP review... I was hoping they would post answers online today. Guess not. Guess we have to wait for the letters. Hopefully we'll get them next week rather than the week after. I dont know what to expect. I don't have a high GPA and didn't do so well on my TEAs so that's why I'm not getting my hopes up. It's so hard to wait. Thank God we have this website to communicate. Gets my mind off the letters and let's me know I'm not the only one out there.

Anyone get any update? Any denials? I think those who are denied will probably find out sooner than those who are accepted. Right?

Bumblebee , will our Rap review will be replaced with accepted/ denied, or will there be a second line of accepted/denied along with rap review?

nothing here either...still in RAP Review. i went out today to avoid checking endlessly hehe.

scary thought about the envelopes. whats left of my sanity is beginning to crumble.

Been looking for jobs around my area for experience in the hospital setting. Checked out Einstein, Fox Chase Cancer Center, Jeanes Hospital, Elkins Park and Abington. I just want something part time, per diem, temporary or even pool, but 99% of them require a certificate, degree and/or experience in the field. Which i have none of :sniff:

Does any one have any suggestions. I need something to do til January comes.. and even more so if I dont get in :cry::cry::cry:

My RAP review went away and i had this

Dispositions Disposition Disposition Date Program Accepted 09/28/2010 Nursing Tier 2 09/24/2010 Nursing

i know someone who was accepted...but according to her..it never said it online. I don't know what happens for those that don't get accepted....i dont THINK they write declined...i think they just dont write anything....idk!
