I'm curious to see if anyone else has applied to the Fall 2016 start of the JU FNP program?

I had my interview this past Wednesday!

I'm in as well!!!! Awesome!

How do you know whether you were accepted to FT or PT? I applied for the PT track and assume that's what I was accepted for but the acceptance letter doesn't specifically say...

Do you live near the school?

Not really. We live in the Mandarin area, off Greenland Rd

Hello all an congrads on your acceptance. Im soon to finish my bsn, and want to stay in town. I hear JU is very competitive. Can you list your stats like gpa, years exp, charge nurse or not, volunteer activities etc. Just to know what the competition is like. Thanks alot!

I don't have a lot of nursing experience (18 months at the bedside in an acute care setting) but I had almost 9 years of experience running the front office of a medical practice. Graduated ADN with highest honors. Graduated BSN summa cum laude. Some volunteer activity but not a huge amount. I think they really use the interview as a big part of their acceptance process. Best of luck to you.

Hello! I am beginning my application for the Fall 2017 FNP/ENP program and I am applying for FT. The combo FNP/ENP is my first choice program wise but I am also interested in just the FNP cohort if I don't get accepted into the combo. Full time is my preference but I am also willing to do PT if it means I am accepted. Do I need to apply to both programs or do they consider you for both? Also, how do you feel you were able to make your applications more competitive than other applicants? How was the interview process? How are you liking the program so far? Any information is helpful!! Please and thanks in advance!!

Specializes in RN 9 years Periop RN 4 years.

HI All.

I'm pretty late on this post but can anyone tell me how FNP went?

I'm considering putting in an application to start fall 2020.

Thank you
