  1. I enjoy my work. I practice in med/surg. I try to complete many tasks. I enjoy laughing and talking with patients, and helping them navigate through the ropes of the hospital. I do not collaborate with scientist.
  2. Hello all an congrads on your acceptance. Im soon to finish my bsn, and want to stay in town. I hear JU is very competitive. Can you list your stats like gpa, years exp, charge nurse or not, volunteer activities etc. Just to know what the competition is like. Thanks alot!
  3. Hello, I've recently applied to work at UF. Specifically one of the ICU units. I hardly have found many topics on this hospital. For those who have or currently work their, what's it like. I know moral varies from unit to unit, but do nurses have a positive outlook on where they work. Does the company care? Moral and teamwork is a biggie for me. I'm coming from a small community hopital, where everyone from the doctors on down can at least recognize eachother. I also enjoy gainsville it's food, and being able to bike to work. Ps- almost all rn positions , have no specific description or experience there looking for. All listings have the same format , and nearly all say variable shift. Does that mean everyone is doing rotating shifts? thanks for your comments!
  4. Which hospital will you be working at?
  5. Thanks. How long after your interview were you contacted with an offer? It's been almost a week for me, the good news is I haven't been rejected
  6. I had an interview ( which I feel went well ) and am waiting to hear back with their decision.
