The nurses at my hospital are being encouraged to fill out a survey by this Jackson company. It relates to employee satisfaction, adequacy of facilities etc.
It is supposed to be anonymous.
Does anyone know anything about this?

One hospital where I worked had yearly employee satisfaction surveys. I don't know if it was "Jackson" that did the surveys or not. The surveys were actually used to try to make things better within work groups. Responses were kept as confidential as possible, but if you worked in a very small group, sometimes you could figure out who said what. We'd have meetings after the results were in, to discuss the survey and consider what to do to make things better.

Our hospital has an employee opinion survey every year. The last one that was done was during a time of great unrest in our department, so there were quite a few comments given. As far as I know, it was confidential, but we were reprimanded as a group for some very constructive criticism that was given in the survey.
