Hey everyone,

I applied for Reynolds fall 2017 RN program that closes may 15th. Just wanted to see everyone's scores for the Kaplan test. We are supposed to hear back 1st or 2nd week of June. Good luck everyone!

I took the Kaplan twice to better my science score.

1st test: Reading 82%, Math 93%, Writing 86%, Science 75%

2nd test: Reading 91%, Math 96%, Writing 71%, Science 80%

I don't like the communication issue already being displayed. You are right that everyone is notified at once. Is there a disorganization issue?

I am unsure as to what is going on this year, upon doing research i found that in previous years students were always notified first week of June. This way those who are excepted into the program can begin to make the necessary preparations before classes begin. I am still waiting, hoping this week is it!!!

I know ...my birthday was yesterday it would have been nice to open an acceptance letter for my birthday... I had a weighted average of 79 so I'm hoping I got in... but this wait is killing me

I just got informed by someone I know that works there that 3 of the teachers in the program have quit and the program is a mess! They are disorganized and don't even know if they will be able to accept all 80 accepted applicants because they don't have enough teachers right now. That's why there has been a delay. I have decided that even if I do get in, I am not going to attend there because the program is going down hill and I dont want to be a part of a new messy program. I got an 89 on the kaplan.

I had a gut feeling something was amiss. I have also decided not to attend even if I got in because I was informed they lost some teachers but that they would replace them before school started. I will be looking at other schools for the spring. Congrats to those who are accepted!!

Does anyone know if this program still goes straight thought the summer or have they stoped offering summer classes. I can't seem to find a definitive answer on this.

Hey everyone,

I have a question,does anyone know of a current student in the nursing program who can shed some light on whats going on (instructors leaving) at JSR. How is it for the students? Are they able to continue studying like that?

I heard that once the professor leave the students fail the course because they cannot complete the course and they had to wait to retake the following semester. Teachers are unsatisfied but about what, I do not know. Also there is no teaching, it's group work which the coordinator told me most students hate.

They way they are handling this is not a good sign for what's to come. Mr. King said we will all be notified in 2-3 business days and I was told that last Thursday. So we should know by tomorrow or tuesday. His reasoning was because he was still waiting on some students to turn in all their documents but that's a lie. It's because the program has lost instructors and they don't know how many students they can take on right now. I also read reviews and they are awful. I'm going to apply to bon secours and a few other places this spring. We will all have a better chance in graduating and passing the NCLEX at those places. I know it will suck waiting another 6 months to get into a school but to me, it's worth the wait.
